Rombach Wissenschaft was taken over from Freiburg Rombach Group by Nomos Verlagsgesellschaft in 2020 as an independent publishing house and represents the scientific programme of Rombach Verlag. With its series, monographs, anthologies and yearbooks, it is one of the leading humanities publishers in the German-speaking world.
Our focus is on German, Romance and Scandinavian studies, music, theatre and dance studies as well as classical philology. In the future, we will expand our programme even more in the direction of cultural studies and media studies.
